I earned my PsyD in 2010 and have been helping children and their parents ever since. I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients, and I have specialized training and experience in helping young children displaying aggressive, defiant, and/or explosive behaviors. Through Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), I coach parents and guardians in developing the necessary tools for promoting a healthy relationship with their children based on mutual love and respect. In return, children feel more secure and are less interested in testing boundaries. PCIT has strong scientific support and is highly effective in person or online! I also provide therapy and psychological testing to people of all ages. Psychological testing is used to evaluate symptoms or concerns in order to determine an accurate diagnosis and provide recommendations for tangible next steps. This includes assessment for autism spectrum, ADHD, learning disorders, and other concerns. Making the first step toward therapy or assessment can be challenging and intimidating.
